Eclectia – A Brief Overview

Eclectia gallery and studio is the photographic hub of Brighton and Sussex.

The Gallery exhibits and sells work of talented Sussex photographers. Please see our exhibitors section to look at the work on display, or even better, just come down at the weekends and view the work in real life on the gallery walls.

Back in the studio is where most of the action can be found as far as photographers are concerned.

The studio is where owner Kirstie Blake bases her own studio shoots for her wide range of clients as well as offering 121 training sessions and portfolio critiques for aspiring and developing photographers who wish to learn from her.
Photographic workshops and courses are also taught in the studio, both by Kirstie herself and by experienced and respected industry professionals visiting Eclectia as guest trainers.

Monthly Free SMUG meetings for photographers of all levels bring the photographic community together to learn from each other, have mini sessions with guest speakers and companies, talks, equipment and software demonstration from top photographic companies. Not to forget a whole load of socialising, interactive shoot evenings, peer led critique sessions and much more.
